BROKEN ARM HEALING
This is an excerpt taken from a letter written by Jeremy Hazell, who recently
visited our church, ministering powerfully in healing, the prophetic, and teaching:
“On Friday afternoon, I went to their
children’s street ministry. During the first skit, one of their clowns, Andreea, a 15 year old girl, fell down
and broke her arm. I examined it and then prayed for her. Then, she said,
‘Please don’t take me away; this is the day we ask the children if they want to accept Jesus.’ So
she sat on the side praying with the rest of us while the program went on. There
was a very heavy anointing during the meeting. There were about 45 kids and about
as many parents and teenagers sitting back listening in the park area. When they gave the call, about 30 kids put there
hands up to receive the Lord.
When I went back to check on Andreea, I noticed that her arm wasn’t swollen like it should have been, but she
still could not move her fingers and had all the other signs of having a broken arm. We walked back to the pastors’
house, and David, Miha, and I began to pray for her arm for about 1/2-3/4 of an hour. During the prayer she was getting
progressively better, and at one point, I felt something like electricity go through the arm. By the end of the prayer
time, she had free movement and only one area that hurt like a small bruise, and today, she was completely whole, waving
a meter square flag for the whole worship service.”
A few days after all of this had happened, at her mother’s request, Andreea went to get an X-ray by her doctor. He told her that her bones had never looked so healthy and that her arm looked like
one that had just recovered after being in a cast! Later, we learned that she
had had especially weak bones because she had leukemia as a child and had broken her arm on three other occasions.

CHICKEN MIRACLE
We all know the scripture Phil. 4:19, “And my God will supply all your needs according to His riches in glory
in Christ Jesus,” but sometimes seeing God’s miraculous provision firsthand can be startling! Also during the two week that Jeremy Hazell was visiting us, one day we decided to go to the store to buy
some groceries. Before leaving, Mihaela looked through our freezer two times
just to make sure that we didn’t have any chicken, shuffling around and looking under everything. When we got to the store, we saw disappointingly that they didn’t have the brand of chicken that
we usually like to buy. So after putting another two brands in our cart that
we don’t like as much, we began to joke that we needed God to multiply our chicken.
Also while at the store, we all began to share stories about how we had seen God’s miraculous provision at other
times in our lives. We told about how we had seen God cause money to materialize
out of nothing five times before. Jeremy told us that while leading a program
for juvenile delinquents, he and his wife were going through a very difficult time financially and didn’t have enough
money to buy food. One day, he went to open his fridge and pulled out the last
package of meat, praying, “God, what am I going to do now?” Every
day for the rest of that week when he went back to the fridge, he found a new package of meat!
When we got home from our shopping expedition, Mihaela went over to open up the freezer, and what do you think that
she found sitting on the top of everything? A package of chicken—our favorite
brand we hadn’t been able to find at the store. Now, you may ask, why
would God do such a thing? Firstly, He who created man with the ability to laugh
has a great sense of humor. But also, we can always look back on this miracle
whenever we are going through difficult times financially and remember that He is indeed Jehovah Jirah, who supplies all our
needs according to His riches in glory.
APPEARING
MONEY
One day, Peter was given an amazing lesson in God’s miraculous provision. Since
it was tax time and He didn’t want to offend anyone, Jesus told Peter to go out fishing, and the first fish he would
catch would have a gold coin in its mouth (Matt. 17:27). Three people from our
church recently received similar lessons:
(1) Cosmin,
a university student who comes to us from another city, Deva, was one of our leaders in the camp. One
day when eating at a restaurant, he grabbed for the 200.000 lei (the equivalent of about $6) he had in his pocket, but he
pulled out 1.200.000 lei ($36). God caused the money to appear!
(2) Irena, another university student
who still hasn’t given her life to Jesus but regularly attends our church, had 100.000 lei ($3) appear in her wallet
one day. She was so shocked that days later she still couldn’t fully comprehend
what had happened to her!
(3) Dorica, a great young lady who sings on our praise
and worship team, had run almost completely out of money. She prayed, telling
God that she needed 200.000 lei ($6) to buy some groceries for herself and her brothers.
Moments later, she found that exact amount in her wallet.
